"Hurricane Haley Hits" FTSK fans all across the nation!

Freshly off Warped Tour, Forever The Sickest Kids haven’t skipped a beat. Somehow our boys managed to find some time to record a new track for all their thirsty fans out there. Entitled “Hurricane Haley” it’s release has pretty ironic timing.

Go see Paper Route NOW!!!

I truly experienced something magical last night at the Mercury Lounge in New York City.

Paper Route list their influences as: Jurassic Park, magic tricks, Alice in Wonderland and the Titanic soundtrack—after you see them live this makes all the sense in the world. Much like Jurassic Park, the boys from Nashville tinker around with the greatest variety of sounds/instruments I’ve seen in a long time (accordion, tambourine, 3 keyboards, various rattles, etc.) …creating a titillating ambient/electronica sound.

Their delivery encases the charisma of a great Magician.

Their play with conventions of language and logic pushes through a careful balance of sense and non-sense elements-much like Alice in Wonderland.

Their harmonies are so perfect and generate an echo so vast (“We Are All Forgotten” and “You Kill Me”, which are the stand out tracks for me) that it feels as if are with Leo himself on the front of the Titanic.

I’d highly suggest purchasing their EP, We Are All Forgotten.

Sure Cure for The Mondays...Paper Route LIVE TONIGHT

Colin Munroe is on the Queen of all Media's hit list

A few months back Canadian newcomer Colin Munroe blew us all out of the water with his Kanye-worthy interpretation of “I Want Those Flashing Lights”.

Today, Colin caught the almighty Perez Hilton’s attention for the second time with another awe-inspiring cover. This time he pays homage to rock gods U2, and does them justice with his rendition of “Sunday Bloody Sunday”.

Check out the vid for yourself and keep your eyes peeled for this youngster-he’ll be out on the road this fall with his one man band. Yep, you heard us right, Colin plays all of his instruments himself. Impressed yet?
