Congratulations to Forever the Sickest Kids and all their fans/friends that chipped in for Blood: Water Mission!
Successfully raising and sending off $10,000!!!
What they ended up doing is giving this money to build/repair water wells in Central African Republic. This country is located right in the heart of Africa. Instead of only being able to help one tribe as they thought, they believe that God really blessed what they were all doing and they got to help out 4 tribes/villages!! The cities were Botangou, Vallo, Yoro PDSV, and Guerengou. These places had water wells built in the past but all were damaged by intense mud clogs, broken pipes, ill-maintenance, or weren't built properly. It is just like these places didn't even have a well in the first place. These old wells have been dysfunctional for almost 2 years now! With many long nights of long conversations with Blood: Water Mission they decided to go back and rebuild these once useless wells. Not only did the crew rebuild the wells but also stayed a week longer in each village to teach the tribes how to properly maintain the wells.

[read more]As you would expect from a Kaiser Chiefs/Mark Ronson pairing …Off With Their Heads does NOT disappoint
Their growth as a band is apparent. This album feels a little more uplifting than their previous efforts, which may turn off some of their hardcore fans . But even the most devoted can’t deny the production quality that Ronson's magic touch lends, layering one catchy pop/punk hit after another . You don’t have to skip a single solitary song on this album.
The stand out tracks are definitely “Never Miss A Beat”, “Tomato in the Rain”, “You Want History” and “Addicted to Drugs” which was the # 35 song in the Singles of the Year by Rolling Stone.
Kaiser Chiefs came in at # 21 out of 50 for Records of the Year in Rolling Stone proving that these guys are winning over the US, one album at a time. Their live shoe is pretty genius too- British punk at its best meets 2008 beats!!!
